Contact and enquiry forms
If you contact us via the forms on this website (contact form, riding lesson appointment), we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number, travel dates, message) to handle your enquiry and for follow-up questions (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Delivery of form emails
We use the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor to deliver messages sent through our forms. When you submit a form, the data you provide is transmitted to us via their servers; you also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the address you gave. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the reliable delivery of your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and the initiation of the contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Hosting & server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type). This data serves to ensure trouble-free operation and to improve our services (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is not merged with other data sources.
Map service (OpenStreetMap)
We embed map material from OpenStreetMap to show directions. The map is only loaded once you have consented to the ‚External media‘ category; until then a placeholder is shown in its place. When it is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via the cookie icon in the bottom left corner.
Online booking (booking engine)
On the “Book” page we embed the booking engine (IBE) of our booking system provider Simplify Hospitality / sitec. When you open that page, program code and style files are loaded from their servers (fo.sitec.com), transmitting your IP address to the provider. If you place a booking, the data required for it (name, contact details, travel dates, chosen accommodation, payment details) is processed directly in the provider’s booking system, which acts as our processor in this respect. The legal basis is the initiation and performance of the accommodation contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The booking engine is loaded only on the booking page, not on the other pages.
Cookies
This website itself does not use tracking or marketing cookies; technically necessary functions (e.g. language selection via the URL) work without cookies. We store your choice from the cookie notice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key ‚cookie_consent_settings‘) – this entry never leaves your device and serves solely to avoid asking you again and to release withheld content. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie icon in the bottom left corner. The embedded booking engine may set technically necessary cookies or comparable storage techniques for the booking process.
Your rights
